Summary

In this role, you will be the global leader of Marketing and report directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for setting the overall global marketing direction, representing the company externally, and ensuring clear targets, budgets, and priorities for the function. You will lead a four-person marketing team based in Rotterdam and work in close collaboration with commercial consultants and expertise leaders throughout the organization. Alongside strategic leadership, you will also play an active role in driving the b2b (content) marketing agenda and contributing to content and campaigns. Your work will directly support SKIM’s international growth and brand positioning.

What will you do?

• You lead the overall global marketing strategy and set clear marketing OKRs and targets.
• You represent the company in the market and strengthen pr and brand equity.
• You drive the global b2b (content) marketing agenda and contribute to content and campaigns
• You coordinate external agency support, including pr partners.
• You manage the marketing budget and align priorities with business goals.
• You lead and develop a junior high-performing marketing team of four people.
• You work closely with commercial consultants and expertise leaders across the business.
• You professionalize and innovate marketing activities in a growing international company.

Where will your work?

You will join the global marketing function at SKIM and lead a team of four colleagues based in Rotterdam. The role involves close collaboration with consultants and expertise leaders across international offices in the US, Europe, Asia, and South America. You will be based in Rotterdam, next to Rotterdam Central Station, in a hybrid working environment.

What do you bring?

• You have 8 to 10 years of experience in b2b marketing.
• You have at least 3 years of experience leading a team.
• You have a strong understanding of what is needed in a growing company
• You have expertise in b2b marketing at both strategic and operational level
• You have experience in an international company and/or an international background
• You are eager to work across the globe
• You have native-level English
• You are energetic, entrepreneurial, and focused on what is next in marketing
• You are inspiring and collaborative with different personalities and stakeholders
• You are strategically minded and take a pragmatic approach to innovation and professionalization
